Repayment Process

The process for setting up the repayment for a Dakota Corps Scholarship works as follows:

Board of Regents Staff will put together a breakdown of the funding you received each year and how that would look when converted to a loan. If you have indicated any qualifying employment the breakdown will show how that will reduce the overall scholarship-to-loan conversion.

Once the breakdown is complete and shared, you will be given the opportunity to review it to ensure everything looks accurate. When this is complete, the loan will be set up at First National Bank (FNB) in Pierre. The statements will come from FNB and you will make payments to FNB.

BOR staff will share account numbers and contact information at FNB should you wish to set up automatic payments.
