Jump Start Scholarship - Campus Evaluation
Jump Start Scholarship - Campus Evaluation
Students completing the Jump Start Scholarship will be filtered into a campus committee based on their institution selection in the application. The evaluation process will be handled by each individual campus.
To begin - log into scholarship manager, find the
[JUMP START - CAMPUS]
in your list of committees, click the
[ACTIONS]
button on the right and click
[AWARD CANDIDATES].
Then Click
[Jump Start - CAMPUS]
to open the committee.
When entering the scholarship, the description for the Jump Start Scholarship will open. This description includes the portion that students see when opening a scholarship. The Portion under
GUIDELINES
is only visible to those entering the committee. It contains the legislative rules associated with the scholarship.
By clicking the
[CANDIDATES]
tab at the top of the list, you will pen a list of all students who have completed the Jump Start Scholarship and may meet the criteria. After an initial review of the applications, some students who clearly fall into the below categories have been removed from your committee. BOR staff will send a list of these students to the committee members.
Graduated in more than 4 years
Did not graduate the previous academic year
Students who attended a private high school or were home schooled.
Clicking the Student's name, will open the student's application and the evaluation criteria. All students have attached a copy of their transcript when they applied, but you should also have access to their Final Official High School Transcript on your campus - please be sure to review the official document with a diploma date when making a determination.
The only evaluation criteria needed for each student is Eligibility and Comments - please provide a reason if you have determined a student is not eligible.
Once evaluations are complete, you may award the student on your campus and BOR Staff will make awards in the Portal Committee. Ineligible students will be removed from the committee and payments to the campus will be made based on the roster in the BOR Scholarship Portal.
If there are students missing from your committee, please reach out to the BOR office.
