Reduced Tuition for Eligible Educators
Body
Reduced tuition was originally available to certified South Dakota teachers who, due to their position, were required, as a condition of employment, administrative rule, or state law, to complete continuing education. The current law provides that Head Start Teachers, K-12 Teachers, Vocational Instructors, and School Counselors may request reduced tuition. This reduced tuition is based on an academic year.
